Founded in 2008, the Fondation Métamorphose Développement / Fondasyon Metamòfoz Devlopman is a non-profit organization. It obtained its first Letters Patent on March 12, 2008, under Quebec company number 1165026759. On August 16, 2010, she obtained Supplementary Letters Patent. On December 10th, 2009, the Canada Revenue Agency assigned it the Business Number and on August 16, 2010, it was granted the title of Registered Charity under number 83587 5253 RR0001. The Provincial confirmed this status on October 1, 2010.

Areas of intervention

To boost the local economy, FMD works with communities outside the capital, which often receive less aid. These interventions are carried out through collaborating organizations. Two geographical areas are selected to reach the most vulnerable populations: the far North (North, North-East, North-West) and Artibonite, which represents approximately 30% of the territory
